I found my Ethiopian mission and I didnโt even have to leave the country. And even greater need with most of my new friends from Chad, Sudan and Nigeria.
I would have gone back to Ethiopia in a heart beat. Instead all God wanted me to do was go to Winnipeg and bring an extra pair of boots and an extra frisbee.
And these men all need jobs. One is a truck driver, two are nurses, one worked in food processing and construction. All fled their countries of origin.
Any help for my brothers would be greatly appreciated. If you can help me I can bless these men.

Ela Na Deis means โcome and seeโ in Greek - come and see what Jesus can do. And then trusting and relying that God will provide and Jesus may be glorified and He may rewrite that young manโs story such that he comes to know Jesus and will tell others to come and see.
In that way I told the young man that has worked in food processing and construction that I would pray and ask my friends if they knew of any jobs that might be available and I would get back to him by Tuesday. So please join me in praying that God may provide and rewrite this manโs story.
God just reminded me. There was one other need I could not help with today. One of the men showed me his prescriptions and I had already given everything I had to one of the men and he in turn gave half to one of the other men. It was a beautiful and heart breaking event.
So donโt wait come help me help these men.

Right now I have told the men I met this morning and spent the afternoon with that I would pray for them and talk to my friends about finding them jobs.
Ela Na Deis is purposefully and openly introducing opportunities for Jesus to work in their lives.
That is the come and see part. As JESUS answers my prayers that is the showing them what God has done through Jesus. That is Ela Na Deis.
Ela Na Deis is also getting the opportunity to share what it means to me to follow God, because God/Allah is very important to them.
