This morning, I attended Calvary Temple's early morning traditional service and met a few friends. At the end of the service, I chatted with the lead pastor Adam Browett. He asked me if I ask God each morning where I should go and what I should do. I smiled and said, "As a matter of fact, I do."
About five minutes later, I saw a text from Pastor Dave Huber my pastor from Trinity Church Kelowna. It read:
**Isaiah 30:21**
I responded: "Every day. Pastor Adam at CT asked me that very question this morning, and I told him that's exactly what I do."
The beauty of the early service at Calvary Temple is the mostly empty service. I shared with Pastor Adam, "As I came down Higgins and Princess, God showed me so many hearts longing for His touch. All we need to do is offer them the opportunity to see what Jesus can do, and you could fill this place with hearts wanting God's touch."
Pastor Adam said, โWe have lots of room.โ
I knew I was going to another service but didn't know which one until I got into my truck and headed to Believers Church. When I arrived, I felt a growing troubled feeling in the depth of my soul, a feeling I knew well. Instead of triggering a flight-or-fight response, I recognized it as the precursor to God doing something amazing. I got on my knees during the worship service and asked God to take the troubled feelings away if He wanted me to stay. As I continued to worship, the troubled feelings disappeared, replaced by joy. God was breaking my heart for all the broken people and families in the inner city that Believers Church, Calvary Temple Winnipeg and Church of the Rock.
The worship lasted an hour, the sermon was equally long, and prayer was intense. God kept breaking my heart to the point of tears.
Then something even more amazing happened. God gave me a word for the people of Believers Church, and the pastors allowed me to share it:

I know God is preparing to do something amazing in this town. He is ready to rewrite stories on people's hearts and is asking us to give them the opportunity to come and see what Jesus can do. Will you ask those around you to come and see, or simply offer to pray for them and then step back and let God rewrite their story? If you do, God will do amazing things through you, and people will start saying 'come and see,' and this city will be won for God.

The most practical way to help people come and see what Jesus can do is to pray into their lives and share the comfort He has given you. Let Jesus rewrite their story.

It's not about what we can do but what God has done for us. Make the simplest overture to those God brings across your path. If you are uncertain, pray that God will bring someone hungry for His touch across your path, and when He does, pray with them and be their comfort. Let Christ rewrite their story.
I would not be able to say "come and see" if it werenโt for the 30 prayer warriors who stood by me in my brokenness, never shamed me, and only pointed me to Jesus, allowing Him to rewrite my story.
I pray God moves greatly in each of your lives today. May you be a blessing to those around you, showing them the hope you have, and walking with them as God rewrites their story so they may say, "come and see." Because that is what God has done for me โ Christ has rewritten my story, and I just want to offer people an opportunity to come and see!
