**Luke 10:2 NIV:** "He told them, 'The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field."
Someone in Winnipeg must have asked for laborers. I've only been here a little over a week, and I've witnessed Him doing amazing work. Altar calls that fill the stage beyond count, baptisms taking more than half an hour, and reports of many more baptisms recently.
When I shared my story with the lead pastor at Calvary Temple, he wasn't surprised that God had led me to Winnipeg. God is at work. ๐๐ When I shared my story with someone from Church of the Rock, he also wasn't surprised. He said there's a lot of work to be done in Winnipeg.
Luke talks about the opportunity in terms of a harvest. For me, it feels like a gold rush.
For too long, I focused on being successful at all costs, grabbing "gold" wherever I could find it, without seeing the impact on my family or those around me, until it was too late. God has so thoroughly transformed my priorities. Now, I see the true gold as people's hearts and souls.
So I pray: God, break my heart for what breaks Yours, that I might hear the hearts of those You bring across my path today.
I give You my ears and my mouth, that I might hear Your voice and speak into the lives of the people You bring into my life.
I give You my feet and my hands, that You might send me where You want me to go and use me to do whatever You want me to do.
And finally, I give You my heart. Lord, please make it more like Yours, so that when people look at me, they see You. They see Your love, Your peace, and Your joy.
